A liquid master batch is a custom blend of additives and pigments dispersed in a liquid vehicle chosen in order to ensure compatibility with the end-use polymer.

THYOSIL MBL3025 is a high efficiency acrylic fluid that provides flow with flexibility and can be used with a variety of plastics

Existing liquid color concentrate technology uses carrier systems that are base on surfactants, oils and/or plasticizers. This products are often incompatible with many polymers resulting in loss of physical properties, processing problems like screw slippage. Many of the existing carriers affect the clarity of optically clear polymers, such as polycarbonate (PC), polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), styrene-acrylonitrile (SAN). Therefore, liquid color concentrates are not used with these plastic resins. Also existing color concentrate carriers have limited heat stability and used to color polymers, such as PC, which is processed at about 315 °C.

Currently, pellets-based concentrates, and pre-colored resins are used。 But such uses also present problems。 Pellets-based concentrates for tint applications have be used at high dilution or letdown ratios to achieve good color distribution。 Pre-colored resins are expensive to manufacture and warehouse。 Such resins also undergo two heat histories (initial compounding and subsequent molding), which can be detrimental to some polymers。

THYOSIL MBL3025 is an acrylic fluid that achieves the problems mentioned before and it may be use with acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), Polycarbonate (PC), polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), styrene-acrylonitrile (SAN), polyphenylene ether (PPE), styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS), and acrylics polymers.

液体色母料是由载体,添加剂,颜料分散于液体载体的聚集体,此聚集体要与最终使用的聚合物的相容性。THYOSIL MBL3025 一款高效率的丙烯酸流体提供流动与柔韧性,并且与各种塑料相容性好。

现有的液体色母料技术采用了基于表面活性剂,油和/或增塑剂的载体系统。这种产品往往是许多聚合物不兼容导致的物理性能损失,及加工问题,像螺丝滑丝。

许多现有载体影响光学透明的聚合物,例如聚碳酸酯(PC),聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯(PMMA),苯乙烯 - 丙烯腈(SAN)的清晰度。因此,这种液体色母料不能用于这些塑料树脂。

另外,现有色母料载体只有有限的热稳定性,并用于有色聚合物,如聚碳酸树脂PC,处理温度要达到约315℃ 。

目前使用的是粒状为基础的色母料,和预着色树脂。但是还会出现这样的问题。粒状色母用于上色(着色)需要高稀释或损失颜色的分散。而预着色树脂会有很高的生产和存储成本。而这种树脂也经受两个加热阶段(初始混合和随后的模制),这可能不利于某些聚合物。

THYOSIL MBL3025 做为一款丙烯酸流体载体,可以解决上述的缺陷和不足。可以适用于 丙烯腈 - 丁二烯 - 苯乙烯(ABS),聚氯乙烯(PVC),聚丁烯对苯二甲酸酯(PBT),聚碳酸酯(PC),聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯(PMMA),苯乙烯 - 丙烯腈(SAN),聚苯醚(PPE),苯乙烯 - 丁二烯 - 苯乙烯(SBS),和丙烯酸聚合物 .

Achievement of a color match of a plaque with a desired color from the creativity of a designer or a pre-arranged color standard such as Pantone R color standards from an inventory of commercially available colorant is relatively straightforward for a skilled color matcher, even if a few iterations are required to satisfy the customer.

The concentration of colorant into a carrier is significant because of the relative cost of the colorant ingredient (s) and the need for that color to consistently and precisely mix and disperse into the carrier.  It should consistently and precisely dilute into the plastic resin and other compound ingredients during letdown of the concentrate in mixing equipment prior to formation of the pre-form embryonic bottles or other articles. Letdown ratios depend on the concentration of colorant in the color concentrate and whether the final molded product is intended to be opaque, translucent or transparent. Due to liquid master batches easy incorporation into the polymer matrix they are an excellent choice when it comes to transparent or translucent colors

Concentration of concentrate after letdown into the final molded product can range from about 0.1 to about 0.5 weigh percent.  The mixing equipment used to make the liquid color concentrate can be any suitable equipment already used in the art of making liquid color. For example such equipment includes high speed Cowles type dispersors, media mills, three roll mills and rotor stator type dispersors.The mixing equipment can operate at mixing speeds ranging from about 1000 rpm to about 2500 rpm and temperatures ranging from about 40°c to 80°C.

Surfactants are sometimes desired to aid in dispersion of dyes and pigment。 THYON T34 is recommended。Also, functional additives for polyester bottles are added。 They can include anti-oxidants, antistatics, acetaldehyde scavengers, blowing agents, biocides, exfoliated Nano-clays and the like。

调色可以参照潘通R色标准 ,简单。着色剂在载体里的的含量可以精准混合,相对成本优势显著。它可以用于瓶胚或其它预混高浓缩塑料里,当在稀释时可以均匀随着塑料的分散开。

它应该在形成预制胚胎瓶或其它物品之前混合设备的浓缩物,期间一致且精确地稀释到塑料树脂和其它化合物成分。稀释比率取决于着色剂在色母料中的浓度,以及是否最终成形的不透明的,半透明的或透明的。用液体母料容易引入聚合物基质这是一个很好的选择,用于透明或半透明色
